Casa Flores explores the relationship between architecture, landscape and family life. Arriving on the upper level, a bridge-like circulation spine overlooks the courtyard below and connects a series of private bedroom suites, each oriented toward surrounding vegetation and filtered natural light.
Design Approach
At the centre of the home, a planted courtyard creates visual connections between floors while bringing shade, airflow and nature deep into the interior. Locally sourced stone, structural timber and teak establish a warm, tactile material palette that complements the surrounding jungle environment. Large openings dissolve the boundary between inside and outside, allowing living spaces to extend naturally into gardens, terraces and the pool beyond.
The result is a home designed for both connection and privacy, where shared spaces encourage family life while quieter retreats remain closely connected to the landscape.
